The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with Accenture, released its Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2026, one of the most respected annual assessments of global cyber risk. The findings should make every business owner pause:

  • The gap is widening. Large corporations are pulling ahead with AI-driven defence, while smaller businesses fall behind. 54% named limited knowledge and skills as their biggest obstacle.
